treatment of diseases by water
Water is the basis of all the biological functions of the human body. Water is also the carrier of basic nutrients necessary for life. Not only this, water also plays an important role in controlling body temperature.
For this reason, water is used as medicine. Naturopathy is a completely Indian system of medicine, in which diseases are treated through air, water, soil and sunlight. Foreign scholars adopted it a lot.
Captivating was a citizen of Germany, he had opened his Naturopathy Hospital on October 10, 1886. He laid special emphasis on water therapy. It kept expanding.
Water is the most important place in nature after air. 3/4th part of the earth is water and only 1/4th part is land. Water is used in abundance in naturopathy method. Abundance of water in our anatomy also 2/3 of the body weight is water and 1/3 is solid.
Teeth can be said to be the most solid substance of the body, it also has 10% water content. More than 18% water content remains in the bones of other parts of the body.
In our daily diet, which we consider as a solid thing, 50 to 60% of water remains in it. Apart from this, the body needs water in the form of water or beverages.
Thus, due to abundance of water in the body, water is used in large quantities in daily diet, bathing and hygiene etc. Water therapy (water policy, enema, steam bath, water bandages, wraps, bath etc.) is proven for the following done-----
Cleansing the stomach. Releasing stool from the large intestine, colon etc. to heal it. Drinking more water removes water from the urinary tract and heals it. Cleansing the body parts and the skin, keeping the pores open and clean, so that foreign substances of the blood can come out easily.
Reducing the increased body temperature in the state of fever and generating heat in the case of frostbite. Accidental injury or other reason.
To reduce heaviness and pain when more blood is accumulated at one place.
It is written in our scriptures--- ।
That is, water acts as a medicine in indigestion and drinking water after digesting food provides strength to the body. Cold and hot water have different medicinal properties. Cold water works as a medicine for many diseases and hot water works as a medicine for many diseases. If water is drunk before going out in the sun, heat stroke never occurs.
After burning in fire, the burnt organs should be immersed in cold water for at least one hour, this will remove the burning sensation and will not cause wounds or blisters. If the whole body gets burnt, then immediately immerse it in a large water body or pond. To breathe, keep the nose out of the water. Keep in mind that the scorched part should be immersed in water for one or two hours. Water should not be sprinkled on it, it causes harm.
Similarly, in case of sprain or injury in hand or leg, immediately apply cold water or bandage and ice to that place.
The benefit of hot water is in gout diseases, severe pain, back pain, knee pain, arthritis, shoulder stiffness. Hot water or steam is given in this. If you can't sleep at night, then before going to sleep, keep both feet in warm water bucket or tub for 15 minutes before going to sleep, then take out the feet and wipe them and go to sleep. Dip your feet in water, then keep a towel on your head after soaking it in cold water and squeezing it.
Drinking hot water at night destroys the increased air. Due to which unnecessarily increased fat etc. gets rid of easily. And fat accumulation on the stomach, thighs etc. stops.
There is relief from disorders like indigestion, indigestion, afra, constipation, colic, etc., like formation of mucus, formation of cold, headache, increase in cholesterol. That's why you should keep drinking hot water regularly at night. It is not possible to imagine life without water. Water therapy is to take advantage of water by using it properly.
